If you long for that traditional church you used to know; if you desire to be with lots of friendly people; if you and your family are seeking a place to call home, with a commitment to faithful Bible preaching without having to yell, then Shawnee Christian Church is the place for you! You won't find some "social program" which overshadows a genuine worship experience; neither will you find a loud musical production that distracts from the holiness of our God. You will find a place of love, joy, and peace.
Therefore, we are committed to "restoration" of the church in the New Testament, rather than an effort to "reform" an already deviant church from its worldy ways and practices. We are not perfect, but we strive to follow the One who is perfect, Jesus Christ. We are not the only Christians, but we strive to be just Christian, without the need of denominationalism, which divides people rather than uniting them. If this appeals to you, come worship with us!
